uuuhhh, oh...sorry I asked guys! That is definitely a party that should be left in the seventies...unless you are in your seventies and nobody's getting any action, and we have alzheimers so we won't remember it to be embarrassed later, even then it;s kinda sketchy! haha

Hello Everyone,

I would like to wish you all and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please be safe and remember, "NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE!" during the holidays.

I have updated my profile with the photos from the reunion. When you get a chance take a look at them and enjoy. I really had a great time and I am glad I am able to share the memories with you.

Take care and hopefully we will talk soon!

I found two videos on youtube with Luther in them. One was his high school's pep rally (Holly Springs, in Wake County) and one was the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony when his school was brand new. He looks great in both of them. I searched "Luther Johnson" and chose the Holly Springs, or HSHS ones. . . . .

What a shock. Luther contacted me via email right after the reunion. We were going to get together in AL. My wife and I live very close to Alabama State. He travelled there yearly to recruit teachers. It looks like his health deteriorated right after the reunion. Graduation at ASU came and went and I didn't hear from him. Such a loss.

Amy,
Great post linking us to You Tube on Luther Johnson. What a very energetic memory for us all! The man still looks as good as ever. That's how I remember, and will remember, Luther.

Be safe this Summer gang...

The services are also posted on People's website if anyone would like to post comments or read all of the nice things noted about our classmate and friend. Take care and God bless you all and your families...With love,Michelle Wright

Chip - sorry about the e-mail. I think I have fixed it now. Thanks for all you are doing to help us stay in touch. So sad to hear about Luther. It was great to find out about the dedication from the Mayor of Holly Springs though. It sounds like he continued to brighten peoples lives long after Ragsdale!
